The Jezik family name was found in the USA, and Canada between 1911 and 1920. The most Jezik families were found in the USA in 1920. In 1920 there were 2 Jezik families living in Illinois. This was about 22% of all the recorded Jezik's in the USA. Illinois and 1 other state had the highest population of Jezik families in 1920.
Jezik (lit. 'Language') is a Croatian languageliterary magazine published in Croatia by the Croatian Philological Society since 1952. Its editors-in-chief have included Ljudevit Jonke and Stjepan Babić.[1]
The magazine is known for its annual Dr. Ivan Šreter Award for the best neologism.[2]
